Get On Up: Jump Rope & Crunches

Jumping rope has always been one of my favorite cardio workouts. Lately I've been doing the double-turn maneuver, which burns 25 calories per minute. To do it, do a basic jump for five minutes. Then jump twice as high and turn the rope twice as fast so it passes under your feet twice before you land. It's a fun way to get in shape fast!

Get the most out of crunches. Try not to relax your abs as you lower your chest away from your knees. To get rockin' abs, try to sustain the contraction on the way down. Otherwise you will only get half of the toning benefit. Is it easy? No. Worth it? YES!
