Pizza Craving? Satisfy It With a Healthy Cauliflower Crust!

CAULIFLOWER PIZZA CRUST
INGREDIENTS
1 head cauliflower 7 – 8″ wide
1/2 cup parmesan or mozzarella cheese (grated or shredded)
1 large egg
1 tsp Italian (or rosemary, basil, parsley) herb seasoning
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/8 tsp salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Line a round baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
Rinse the cauliflower, remove the outer leaves, and separate into florets. Place the florets in a food processor until a “rice” texture forms.
Place on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove cooked cauliflower from the oven and transfer to a bowl that has been lined with double layered cheesecloth.
Squeeze all of the liquid out of the cheesecloth ball with the cauliflower inside.
Increase the oven temperature to 450. Transfer cauliflower to a mixing bowl along with cheese, egg, herb seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix to combine.
Transfer the cauliflower mixture back on the baking sheet and flatten it with your hands until a thin pizza crust forms.
Bake for 15 – 20 minutes and remove from the oven.
Top the crust with your favorite pizza toppings and bake again until the cheese on top turns golden brown
Slice and dig in!
